Dissapointed
Bought this A7 Lite 2 weeks or so ago and am rather dissapointed in it's performance. I did not expect much with only 3 gb ram and mediocre processor as I wanted it primarily to read books on it which it does ok but in most other areas of operation it is 'stutteringly' slow to do anything at all.
Shame Samsung didn't have the A9 8.7 " LTE 128 storage and 8 gb ram available as I would have bought that one. Now its too late to return it so I'll probably pass it on and look elsewhere although there is not much at all out there with decent specs and 8-9" screen.

A Good Tablet, But You Get What You Pay For
This is a pretty good budget tablet, but you need to be aware of the compromises before buying it.
It is well made, the back is metal and the buttons are would not look out of place on a much more expensive tablet. The screen is fine for watching YouTube videos or Netflix, but the low resolution (1340 x 800) and the fact that it is TFT rather than one of Samsung’s Super AMOLED panels, means that it isn’t as good as the more expensive Samsung tablets. I would have preferred a Full HD resolution, but you get what you pay for.
The storage at 32 GB is OK and it is useful that you can add a MicroSD card if you need extra storage. I chose the LTE model as it is useful to have access to the Internet if I take it away from home. At 371g, it is not particularly light, but it is still very portable.
The Tab A range is much cheaper than the Tab S range, so obviously corners have to be cut and there will be compromises. As long as you set your expectations at the right level, you will be very happy with the A7 Lite.

poor camera quality, slow
i bought this in late 2021. all went well until about 6 mo later - when it started lagging out. it wasn't all that bad until recent, when apps would close on its own ect. this tablet is also not hardy whatsoever ; comparing it to my previous tablet, the samsung galaxy tab a (2017) not only did it have significantly less storage whilst still running relatively normal, it was extremely sturdy. i can assure you, i was very clumsy back then & i always dropped it yet not a single crack. theyre were minor scratches , but i personally dont mind them as theyre not as noticeable.
essentially, old samsungs were clearly much hardier and honestly go for one of those as theyre bound to last longer

I am really digging this thing
I have a A71 phone but that is getting a little aged. This tablet can do nearly all that the phone can do, generally speaking, but with a larger screen and a slightly better battery, a lesser camera and minus the flash. I can cope with that. The speakers are a little lacking but for the price I am not fussed. All in all a great little device.

Amazing Value!
Great tablet, amazing value for what you pay and has been going on well, no complaints. Light and portable to carry around while travelling and has decent battery too!
Only negative would be it can feel a bit under powered for intensive tasks & apps however for media consumption, streaming, and various other tasks are a breeze, 11/10 perfromance for it's value.
Oh, the 4G LTE connectivity is a pure bonus! :)

Really laggy and slow
I am really disapointed with this purchase. The tablet is so incredibly laggy and slow. Its slower than an old Aliexpress tablet I got my kids like 6 years ago, quite seriously. I cannot believe how slow this is. Even opening the settings menu, or pulling down from the top is slow. Opening apps is a joke. What is going on, and why was this the price it was for the performance of something so bad. Really unhappy.

Great tablet, but improve future A product specs
I really like the screen size (8 inch), the tablet does work well for moderate use, but if the intention is to run many apps or games then this tablet can't keep up, I really hope the the next A7 lite LTE version allows for a larger 128 gig storage and a better processor with faster ram, it would also be nice if an SPen could be a compatible accessory for the A series.
