Cashier
Responsible for processing cash, debit, credit and check transactions using a cash register or other point-of-sale system in a retail environment. Duties include balancing the cash register, making change, recording purchases, processing returns and scanning items for sale.

Key Responsibilities:
- Process sales transactions by accepting payments.
- Ensure the price of product is correctly keyed in based on article.
- Calculate and return change when required by the payment method.
- Maintain adequate change denominations in the cash drawer and request additional change as and when required.
- Direct customers to the relevant department in regard to questions about products or services.
- Reconcile cash drawers and sales receipts.
- Report issues on faulty devices or relevant equipment.
- Complete report on a daily basis.
- Sell vouchers / gift cards as and when required.
- Issue out promotional vouchers as and when required and ensure that the balance tallies.
- To perform any other reasonable duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.
