Cleaning issue resolved
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an update to my previous comments re problems with cleaning the oven after cooking roasts at high initial temps. While I absolutely love the oven, the steam-clean settings don't get it clean after cooking a large pork roast with crackling. But a recent conversation with the Customer Care team put me on to an Australian product K2r. It's non-caustic and safe spray cleaner for use in ovens and microwaves. A quick spray in a cold oven and left overnight had the baked on fat coming off the stainless steel backplate with a wipe of a paper towel. It has resolved the only niggle I had with the oven.

Steam Cooking a Revelation
Our SteamPro oven has been installed for nearly three weeks now. I'm still learning how to use the steam functions and the full range of standard oven functions is a fail safe option at the moment. But the low humidity/turbo grill feature works a treat on roast lamb and beef.
Having had pyrolytic ovens for years, we were a little worried about cleaning the cavity. But the longer of the two steam clean settings work very well after a roast dinner.
We have an AEG Combi-microwave oven installed above it and the fact that the convection oven features are the same for both appliances makes using them a lot easier.
Overall very impressed with both appliances.

Amazing oven
It's an amazing oven, highly recommend it. Totally changes how you cook. It's extremely fast to get to temp.
The steam function is awesome, in 15min you can have a meal of steamed vege's and salmon completely done. The steam also works great for bread and cakes.
Hot airfryer is basically fan on 220, it's fully warm in 7 minutes, chips done in 15.
We installed this along with a 2nd oven in the same range but more basic, and it's also great, if you can only get one get the steam function, we couldn't be happier

Sleek, Modern, Amazing Features. You will love it.
We were having a new kitchen installed while we were away. I went to Harvey Norman and purchased all our new appliances. Before we left I went to Harvey Norman for one last look at the appliances I had chosen. I had chosen a Neff oven. When I had another look I noticed the oven had a silver handle. I only wanted black appliances. I asked what options I had. I changed to a AEG oven. I am so pleased I did. It is all black and a sleek modern look. Just what I wanted. So happy I changed. This AEG oven looks amazing in our new kitchen. I am slowly learning to use all the wonderful features this oven has. When you know how, it is a breeze. I am often on YouTube to learn more about my oven. Who would have thought an oven would be able to do so much and create great food. I'm hooked. Thank you AEG.

Cleaning an issue
This is an update to my initial review. We have now had the SteamPro since 10 August. We are still very happy with its quality, functionality and ease of use. But our reservations about cleaning have unfortunately come true. This is the first non-pyrolytic oven we have had for many years. We were assured the steam cleaning function would be a 'breeze' - and for cleaning up after normal roasts it's okay. But we recently cooked a pork belly in it and no amount of steam cleaning could get the grease off the stainless back plate. After hours of cleaning with a baking soda/vinegar paste, I finally got the back plate clean. Lesson learned - pork roasts are going into the BBQ! As AEG advise against caustic cleaners, we are going to be very careful about what we cook in it. In contrast, the AEG pyrolytic oven we have in our other house deals with cleaning after pork roasts exceptionally well. For those who are used to pyrolytic ovens, be warned

Modern styling
I’ve been using this oven for the past month and it is soooo much better than my previous oven.
The display features help in choosing the best cooking solutions for my recipes, pre heating is fast and I’m loving experimenting with steam!
The after purchase cooking class has enhanced my understanding of the oven’s features.

Love my oven
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this oven earlier this year to replace my old aeg oven that I had for over 17 years, I loved that oven so much, I naturally replaced it with the newer aeg oven and it’s even better!! I love it and cooking in it is a dream! I couldn’t be happier with my purchase!

Amazing Oven
I purchased this oven and we have been amazed at how easy the oven is to use and navigate the menus, I cook a lot of Sourdough Dough Bread and the steam function creates the perfect loaf. So happy with this purchase and can not recommend this oven highly enough.
