Retail Management In Training Programme [15 Months]

Successful candidates will join our Fast-Track Programme, a 15-month on-the-job training journey under the Retail Management In Training Programme (RMIT). Throughout the programme, trainees will gain hands-on exposure across Harvey Norman Malaysia's retail business units and learn the foundations of store operations.
Upon successful completion, trainees will progress to the next level and take on greater management responsibilities. Under the Retail Management Trainee Programme (MIT), you will experience high-impact development designed to groom into future retail leaders.

What you will learn:
- Learn about retail merchandising, sales, inventory, planning and management.
- Gain knowledge on Company policies, protocols, and processes.
- Learn from experienced staff members on day-to-day retail operations and tasks.
- Liaise with Managers, Supervisors and other staff members.
- Participate in meetings, workshops and other learning opportunities with guided schedule and learning modules.
- Learn about conflict resolution and sit in disciplinary hearings.
- Complete assigned tasks by assisting with day-to-day operations with the assigned business unit.
- Prepare documents and update records.
- Fulfil any requirements and meeting goals set at the program.
What you will get:

- Remuneration: Up to RM6,000

- Malaysian citizen
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline preferably with 3.0 CGPA. (Candidates who studied Retail Management will be an added advantage).
- Experience in the retail workforce is an added advantage.
- High energy and strong passion for the retail industry.
- Committed to continuous-learning and self-improvement.
- Positive attitude with a growth mind-set when facing challenges.
- Excellent at articulating information in both writing and speaking English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Good interpersonal skills and those with customer centric acumen will be an advantage.
- Able to work in a Retail fast-paced environment.
- Able to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
