Harvey Norman Bed-Making Challenge

TERMS & CONDITIONS
- The Bed-Making Challenge with Shaun Chen ("Event") will be held on Friday 1 May 2026, from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at Harvey Norman, IOI Mall Kulai.
- To join the challenge, all participants must register at www.harveynorman.com.my from 13 April to 24 April 2026. Registration is free of charge.
- The Event is open to all Malaysian residents aged 18 years and above. Employees of Harvey Norman, its agencies and agents, as well as their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate.
- All registered participants are required to attend the Event in person on Friday 1 May 2026 and report to the registration counter by 11:00am. Nine (9) contestants will be selected through an on-site lucky draw to participate in the bed-making challenge.
- A total of five (5) teams, each consisting of two (2) contestants, will be formed by draw lots. One (1) team will include Mediacorp artiste Shaun Chen, paired with one (1) Contestant.
- In the event that a Contestant is unable to participate for any reason, or if the number of registered participants in attendance is fewer than nine (9), the Organiser reserves the right to open participation to members of the public present at the Event.
- Each team must make a bed using only the provided queen-size linen set, consisting of:
- One (1) quilt cover and quilt insert
- Two (2) pillowcases
- One (1) bolster case
- There will be five (5) judges, with one (1) judge assigned to each team. All judges' decisions are final and binding, and no correspondence will be entertained.
- Judging criteria will be based on:
- Speed - fastest completion within the 10-minute time limit
- Neatness - smooth, wrinkle-free, and properly aligned bedding
- Overall Presentation - visual appeal and finishing quality
- The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any participant for tampering, disruptive or unsafe conduct, use of foul or abusive language, failure to follow event instructions, provision of false information, or any other misconduct deemed inappropriate by the Organiser.
- The winning team will be determined by the judges based on the criteria stated in Clause 9 and will be announced on-site.
- Contestants in the winning team will each receive:
- One (1) RM300 Harvey Norman Gift Card, and
- One (1) free pillow and bolster set
- One (1) RM100 Harvey Norman Gift Card
- One (1) RM50 Harvey Norman Gift Voucher
- All prizes, gift cards, and gift vouchers are non-refundable, not valid for partial redemption, and cannot be exchanged for cash, whether in part or in full. Redemption is limited to one (1) gift voucher per transaction.
- By participating in the Event, participants grant the Organiser the right to use their name, image, likeness, and video recordings for advertising, publicity, and promotional purposes without further compensation.
- By registering, participants consent to and authorise ELITETRAX MARKETING SDN BHD (HARVEY NORMAN) to collect, use, store, and process their personal data. All personal information will be handled in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) and may be included in the Organiser's confidential database.
- By registering and/or participating in the Event, participants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and any decisions, rules, or instructions issued by the Organiser. Harvey Norman management reserves the right to amend, postpone, or cancel the Event without prior notice.
