Philips 4000 Series Steam Generator Iron - Purple (PSG4020/20)

Key Features

Space-saving Design

The lightweight, compact size is perfect for storage and fits conveniently on your ironing board. Exclusive ProVelocity technology makes our steam generators smaller and more compact than ever.

Powerful steam

Strong, continuous steam for effective crease removal of even the most stubborn creases on the thickest fabrics.

OptimalTEMP technology, no burns guaranteed

With OptimalTEMP technology, you achieve great results with one ideal temperature setting. We guarantee this iron will never cause burns to any ironable fabric when it is left unattended. You can safely leave it resting on your clothes or ironing board.

Steam Glide Plus Soleplate

Our SteamGlide Plus soleplate delivers great gliding performance on all garments. Great scratch and wear resistance, non-stick, and easy to clean.

Vertical Steaming

Quickly refresh and de-wrinkle hanging garments and fabrics without the board. Ideal for last-minute touch-ups on shirts, dresses, and curtains.

Eco Mode

Save on energy and water consumption, not on the great results. ECO mode reduces energy and water consumption for delicate fabrics that require less steam. Save up to 50% energy* and 1.1L/h water without compromising on great results.

Safe carry lock for safe and easy transport

Lock your iron securely to the base station for easy carrying around the house and to reduce the risk of accidentally touching the hot soleplate.

Seamless ironing for 1 hour

A 1.7 Litre 360-degree transparent tank gives you 1 hour of continuous use, so you can comfortably iron the whole family's laundry with fewer stops and more convenience.

Smart Calc Clean extends the lifetime of your iron

It's easy to maintain your steam generator with Smart Calc Clean, our built-in descaling system. It will remind you when it's time to descale and includes a container to make descaling easy and safe. Since it is reusable, you will save money and never need to buy extra cartridges.

Transparent Water Tank

Always know when it's time to refill. The transparent design lets you easily monitor the water level at a glance, so there's no guessing and no need to open the tank to check.

Bacteria Killing

Refresh and disinfect your garments. Steam kills 99.9% of bacteria by effectively sanitizing without damaging your garments.

1.7L Water Tank

The 1.7L 360-degree transparent water tank means longer ironing sessions with fewer refills. See clearly how much water is left and refill easily under the tap through the large filling door.
