Lack of Repairability and Sudden Damage
This drive suddenly forced an eject while I was using Logic Pro on my MacBook Air. When I plugged it back in, it was recognized as an unreadable 64 MB drive under the name "SanDisk Anisha Media" that needed to be formatted. From what I've read online, this is an issue that occurs when the NAND disconnects from the controller, and it's concerning that it happens so frequently on multiple types of drives. However, the main issue is that this drive does not seem to have an easy way in, unlike others. 30 out of 32 GB were being used for important samples that I need to finish multiple projects. All of this data currently seems unrecoverable.

spec sheet should be illegal. Awful Performance
extremely bad performance: Writes < 10MB/s including IO blocking. Basically unusable if you are thinking to copy more than 100MB. Even more unusable with Rekordbox.
The many years old regular SanDisk Ultra 3.0 is a much superior product!

Extremely slow write speed
Hardware and usability (dual USB) is great but performance in data transfer is horrible. Specifically write speed constantly oscillating so the graph looks like a sine wave. The speed never goes over 20 MB/s and is constantly dropping below 1 MB/s, and then goes back between 15 and 20 MB/s.
It works like this on both USB-C and USB -A connectors.
Reformatting the drive did not help.
Also there is no other software (like AV) or system interference because other drives (HDD, SSD, Flash) work much better and within their respective specs. So it must be related to the drive itself.

Just about perfect
This USB Type A is perfect for watching your home movies on your television set, while the USB-C is perfect for transferring your home movies onto this drive.
The problem is that there are a bunch of files included that I wound up deleting to create more usable space and reduce clutter when navigating from a television to browse your home movies.
But the really bad problem is the pivot on the handle because it becomes seriously loose over time and will not lock into place.
Overall, it's the nicest dual-port USB flash drive ever made.

Makes a great gift.

Can't use anymore for the Type C mobile phone
It works great for the first time only. I have copied a file from my mobile through Type C to my mobile computer (USB). Then my phone can't recognize it anymore when I plug it into my phone again. It works fine if I use it for a computer by using the USB. I don't know why but it means nothing if I can't use it for my phone!

Excellent drive.
I have purchased at least 20 64GB up to 256GB in the past 2.5 years. It performs well. Yes it gets hot, but when I remove the drive, it has never even come close to me having to turn it loose. Great drive all the way around. Work great for storage or imaging PCs.

Do Not Buy
Gets extremely, and I do mean extremely, hot and very slow performance. Refuses to eject. And this is unit #2 which Western Digital kindly sent to me under warranty as unit #1 exhibited the same issues. I give this product a solid Do Not Buy rating.
