Great quality, but too long
The strap itself is really nice but a bit too long to be perfect for me. I'm a 5'6" woman, and I prefer to have my camera above my hip. I really like the camera attachment system as well as the strap material and length adjustment mechanism. Unfortunately, if I want to wear my camera above my waist and hanging from my neck, I have to slide the adjusters so they're only a couple inches apart. At that point, they're clustered in not the most comfortable way, right at my neck. I could not see myself needing nearly the length provided. Wish there was a shorter option for smaller or shorter people, but I will be keeping the item because it's good quality and still useable.

Slide Lite vs. Leash
I already had a Leash Camera Strap which I found perfect and light when using with compact zooms or prime lenses, on my new mirrorless camera body.
However on bigger zoom lenses such as 14-24, 24-70 and 70-200 I needed more support;
Thus I purchased the Slide Light which was the proper solution at the end.
If I want to go out for street photography or any type of photography with prime or contact zooms I will still use my Leash camera strap, changing fast from the one to the other with the Anchor Link connection system, while using the same anchors.
But for everything else, the Slide Lite is the perfect camera strap.
Excellent product.

Works Great!
I bought the Slide Lite camera strap after having purchased three other ones from different companies. After using them, I realized that just because it was a pretty strap didn't mean it was functional or sturdy enough to hold my expensive camera and lens. The Slide Lite is comfortable to wear, moves easily across the body and is 10000000% securely attached to my camera body and lens. I did not worry one bit wondering if the camera would slip out of the strap. My camera is a Canon R6 and I have used the 50mm, the 24-70 and the 70-200 lens while using this strap! Yay Slide Lite! I have found the perfect strap...and it is in the pretty sage green color too!

Great strap
My son bought me the Slide lite for my birthday recently. I love the technology behind the product. Not just a great strap but part of a great system. I do wish, however, that I had requested the Slide instead. I usually have my Tamron 18-400 super zoom on my camera and can be walking around for hours and could have really used the wider strap from a comfort standpoint. With my lighter lenses, the lite is perfect or for shorter shoots but if you are spending all day walking around with a lens weighing in at a bit over 1.5 lbs, I believe a wider strap would be more comfortable and supportive. Very pleased with Peak Design's products. Great engineering

Excellent strap but scratches my brand new Nikon
Bought a Slide lite for my new Nikon d850. I am used to the Black Rapid from my other D500 camera. I am happy with the Black Rapid but sure the PD slide Lite have some good features. Buuut - when I packed my D850 in my bag for the the gig, the metal buckles on my Slide scratched my brand new camera. The black paint went off a couple of places. It could have been the LCD monitor - not good. So now I have to live with a scratched camera house and have to take of the strap and pack it separately every time. Its overkill to use metal buckles - just for design - use plastic buckles and this will not happened.

Slide Lite , and Slide ! Two amazing straps
I have purchase so many straps for mY Canon Full Frame Camera and was hitting dead ends . I couldn't find the best strap for my needs basically I have a Grave in my storage full of useless straps Until I was introduce to this amazing strap . It was love at first site! the comfort and the utility of the strap is the best in the market , These guys took a lot of tie to come up with this very well made strap for security and comfort. Please people don't get fool with other brands who sell straps that don't come close to Peak Design Straps , so don't sell your self short .. Get your Peak Design Gear today !! Straps in Good!
Originally I had purchased the thicker strap didnt work out for me was too thick I had it exchanged for the lite which I love works best for me I really do love the style and the strength it has how easy it is to move around clip and unclip make larger or small with one hand. The only thing I'd have to say is the larger strap had a cuff at the end by the clip that prevented the strap from being open and bulky and in this lite it doesn't have it and it gets in my way at times I had to add a rubber band to keep that loop closed. Other than that it's the perfect strap! All straps should be made equally the same I would very much so recommend pd straps!

Comfortable, great quality
I thought it was kind of expensive for a camera strap, but the quality is fantastic. Super easy to adjust the length on the fly, and locks securely. Feels great. Love the versitility with the anchors. Slides easily across the body on the slidey side, and grips well on the rubber side. Only thing that could be improved is somehow allowing a way to choose whether the slidey side or rubber side is the "default" side down- i.e. if I want to use the rubber side down, the strap is always twisted on top and therefore less comfortable. It would be nice if we could rethread it through the buckles to flip the top part the way we want so it's not twisted.
