Microwave works well and has good features. Unsure of air fryer and convection oven yet as I have not had much success. I find it awkward to get items out of oven or to turnover when using oven, due to heat and space Steam and food spatter accumulates and difficult to wipe off with element on the top. Stainless steel walls so different from easy clean ceramic microwave I have had in past. Large unit that takes up counter space and cannot put in microwave cupboard as it requires space around for air flow and high heat of oven. In hindsight would have purchased a normal microwave and seperate air fryer. Might be good for those with large kitchens.

Money well spent
Since bringing home our new 3-1 which we have affectionately named 'Neville', we are nothing short of amazed at what it can do and how well it can do it! From homemade pizza to tender lamb roasts to pork roasts with incredible crackling, it cooks and reheats throughout. Not to mention the cupcakes, bread and other meals we have created without a hitch whether via pre-set modes or with a manual twist. My family has been a believer of Breville since we bought our Fast-Slow Pro about four years ago and we are glad we bought the Combi Wave Neville has pride of place in our kitchen and we honestly feel it was a smart decision.

Fabulous machine BUT...
I am renovating my smallish kitchen and thought this microwave would be perfect. Three-in-one so less machines needed. My designer put in an under bench niche for it.
Imagine my dismay when I read the manual that it cannot be put under-bench or enclosed. It must have a 20cm clearance either side and above!
There was absolutely nothing on the website stating this. I triple checked.
Now I'm stuck with a great microwave that takes up an enormous amount of my bench space and looks like a monster in the kitchen.
If you're looking for a microwave that can be put off the benchtop steer clear of this.
If you don't care then buy it because it really is a great microwave.

Great little oven punches above its light weight
Nifty little number to get us through our renovation. The operation can be a little challenging at first. The terminology etc. in the manual doesn't necessarily make immediate sense, but once yogurt the hang of things it's all good. The oven does everything it promises. The cook times are fast, so even though it's small and you can't fit too much in, by the time the stuff on the stove top is ready several lots of food can be cooked in the oven. You might sometimes need to repeat the 'automatic' cycles 2 - 3 times to get the perfect finish. When our renovations are finished the oven will end its days in the people section of our gooseneck horse trailer.

Still working out the functions
I have been unable to complete the dessert recipe as my turntable plate cracked while I was making a roast.
I have never used an air fryer and I didn’t find that this oven cooked chips any better or faster than the regular oven. I am trying out a few different things to see if it is something useful.
The chicken cooked quickly and the skin was crispy but the meat was a bit dry.
As mentioned before, the turn table glass cracked in half while I was cooking a pork roast? I am not sure how as I was cooking in a Pyrex glass roast pan and had the turn table function “off” , I am unsure how to get a replacement part?

Microwave magic
Previously I would never have attempted an actual cake but this microwave has changed my mind I made an apple cinnamon tea cake and it was AMAZING light and moist and golden brown on top it was absolutely delicious. Next I tried the air fryer function and made delicious crispy chips from scratch and wow they were spectacular easy to make and the results were great miles ahead of anything I’ve cooked in an oven. And speaking of ovens I don’t know that I’ll bother cooking a chook in mine again when this magnificent microwave can roast actually roast a chicken just as well if not better the chicken was beautifully cooked and juicy with yummy golden crispy skin. I would never ever have believed a microwave could do this if I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes

I purchased the 3 in 1 about 8 mths ago, hoping to use it as air fryer, oven and microwave.
The microwave function works well, and the soft close door is a nice touch.
However, the air fryer function is incredibly slow and the it doesn’t seem to get to operate at the desired temperature. To get round this I’ve been using the combi function, even then I tend to need to set it to 230c and it still takes longer than a standard oven would and the outside of what I am cooking is still not golden brown or crisp.
Overall, the concept is great, but the microwave function is the only function that performs adequately, and the other functions are too much of a compromise compared to dedicated appliances to be considered functional equivalents and I am left with an expensive microwave.

Great all round appliance
I loved the product, I have never been confident enough to cook a meal in my microwave so was going into this with doubts but I am blown away the results are great,
The cake was delicious and so easy to make in the microwave oven, the butter softening button is so good, the butter was the perfect softness when usually It melts too fast, the cake was moist and cooked golden which I was not expecting!
While I like the airfry option I think it takes a long time to cook things so was very similar to using the oven option, my fries turned out golden and crispy but needed 35mins so I was expecting the airfry to be faster results.
The soft close door is great especially when my kids are using it,
I loved the crisping pan, it's a great addition it makes everything nice and crunchy,
The grill option is great my kids made grilled cheese toast and it was perfectly melted and they were able to do it all on their own
